Many Congratulations to Roisin Fahey from the Leaving Certificate class of 2020 who has been awarded a Naughton Scholarship.
The Naughton Scholarship Programme was set up in 2008 to promote and reward the study of Science, Engineering, Technology and Mathematics at third level in Ireland.
This year Roisin is one of 36 exceptional students to be awarded one of these annual scholarships. She will receive €5,000 per annum for the duration of her undergraduate degree programme. Roisin will also receive the support of the Naughton Foundation during these years. Scoil Mhuire has received a prize of €1,000 towards the school’s science facilities.
Roisin is now studying Engineering in Trinity College Dublin. She is the fifth Scoil Mhuire student to receive a Naughton Scholarship since 2008.
